Meet Dr. Florencio
Specialist in Prosthodontics and Dental Implantology
Dr. Sergio Florencio is a board-certified prosthodontist with advanced training in implant dentistry, esthetic rehabilitation, and full-mouth reconstruction. With a global academic background and years of clinical and teaching experience, he is dedicated to delivering world-class care with compassion, precision, and integrity.
Dr. Florencio completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics and earned his Doctorate in Medical Sciences at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he also trained under Dr. Paul Schnitman in full-mouth rehabilitation with dental implants. He studied bone biology and mechanics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and has extensive experience with digital workflows and esthetic dentistry.
His dental education began in Brazil, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, followed by a second DDS from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry. He also completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
